Sleeping Giant - Hamden
GPS: 200 Mt. Carmel Ave., Hamden. Take Route 10 north or south, and turn onto Mt Carmel Ave. Meet .2 miles on left across from Quinnipiac University.
NO KIDS - NO DOGS - NO SNEAKERS, Wear hiking boots. Buffet Lunch after each hike. Hike starts at 8:30AM sharp, please arrive at 8:00AM. Hike will last approximately 2 hours. Singles Only 30s-70s. For those of you new to Active Singles, please check-in with Charlie upon arrival (baseball cap and bright colored shirt).
We hike at four different group levels:
- Social: 3 to 4 miles
- Moderate-Intermediate: 4 to 5 miles
- Advanced: 5 to 6 miles
- Expert: 6 to 7 miles

Lunch immediately afterwards between 11am and 11:15am at Young Young Chinese Buffet, 1668 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike in the Milldale section of Southington. From the hike, go right out of the lot, and right onto Route 10 north. Go 10.1 miles and turn left onto Route 322. Meet a half mile down on the left in a small plaza.
