Storybook Art at Artsplace

 Each week we’ll read a Caldecott Honor of Medal picture book and explore its beautiful illustrations. Then, the kids will be led in creating their own artwork inspired by the story’s theme or the illustrator’s medium – bringing books to life through art. For the Fall 1 Session, three of the storybooks will be: Home in a Lunchbox by Cherry Mo, BIG by Vashti Harrison and Chooch Helped by Andrea L. Rogers.
