Description
Discover introductory and experimental approaches of Cyanotype printing, an alternative photography process that uses light sensitive chemistry and sunlight to make prints. Students will coat various papers and/or other surfaces to capture images from a variety of sources including objects placed directly on the sensitized paper, film negatives placed in contact frames, and drawings on transparent and/or semi-opaque surfaces.
Experiment with additives to the chemistry such as watercolor and gouache pigments which are used to extend the color range.
Workshop: Saturday, 1–4 pm, 9/7
1 session: $99.00; Capacity: 12
