The Extruder Express: A Journey into Clay Artistry

Expect a day of guided exploration and plenty of creative play, resulting in functional items like cups, mugs, or vases.
What to Expect
The workshop will include both demonstrations and guided hands-on practice. You’ll gain confidence in using the extruder and explore its applications for functional stoneware. With step-by-step instruction, participants will learn how to integrate extrusions with slabs and form unique ceramic pieces. There will be a one-hour break for lunch—you are welcome to bring food or enjoy one of the many nearby options.

Who Should Attend

Prerequisites/Safety Information
No prerequisites. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get dirty. Safety guidelines and studio best practices will be reviewed at the start of class.
