The 115th Annual Plant Science Day at Lockwood Farm will showcase the work of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station to protect our crops, soils, forests, and waterways. Featuring dozens of science exhibits, farm plots, hands-on children’s activities, talks, horticultural demonstrations, plant diagnosis services, walking tours, community partner exhibits, and food vendors. The keynote speaker this year is author and community agriculture pioneer Scott Chaskey, who will speak on "Cultivation and Kinship in the Web of Life" at 11 AM. Entry, parking, and all exhibits are free to the public. Gates open at 9:30 AM, rain or shine.
