Roger Sherman: Our Founding Father Pop Up Exhibit

The Amity and Woodbridge Historical Society is excited to present this pop up event in honor of  Roger Sherman,  founding father and Woodbridge land owner. The year 2026 marks the 250th anniversary, or Semiquincentennial, of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, marking the formal founding of the United States.This is our first program in celebration of our nation’s 250th Anniversary. On display you can see an original broadside of the Declaration of Independence, furniture linked to Roger Sherman, documents signed by Roger Sherman and more.
