Roaring 20s Party & Annual Meeting

This year’s Branford Historical Society Annual event will transport us back 100 years to a Roaring ‘20s Party and annual meeting. For one grand evening, we will transform the Pine Orchard Club into a 1925 Speakeasy.
Enjoy our Cocktail Hour with some Hooch and Hors d’oeuvres while chinning with flappers and a couple of dapper tom cats. Maybe you’ll bump into F. Scott Fitzgerald, Clara Bow or Al Capone. We promise it will be the bee’s knees!
Our special guest and big cheese of the evening is author Tony Renzoni , who will discuss his book, Connecticut Bootlegger Queen Nellie Green. He will take us on a journey through the captivating life and times of this legendary figure, Nelly Green, set against the historical backdrop of the turbulent prohibition era, the women’s movement, and the roaring ‘20s.
Tickets are $35 per person.
