PURA Public Meeting

The purpose of the meeting is to hear from ratepayers, particularly low-income residential customers, residential customers that experience high energy burdens, and individuals and communities impacted by PURA decisions. Attendees of this public meeting will:
- Learn about PURA’s role, responsibilities, and current processes, and why PURA wants to expand access and stakeholder engagement; and
- Discuss recommendations to improve PURA’s outreach and engagement, including its website.
The public meeting will take place in person at the Ives Main Library, 133 Elm Street, New Haven, Connecticut 06510. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with opportunities for informal conversation. The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:15 p.m. Details are also available at www.engagePURA.org. Although not required, attendees are encouraged to RSVP at www.engagePURA.org.
To facilitate participation in the meeting by parents and caregivers, licensed childcare providers will offer supervision of children in a separate meeting room at the Ives Main Library from 5:30 p.m. to 7:25 p.m.
Spanish interpretation will be offered by default. Other interpretation services are available upon request, by emailing the PURA Case Coordinator, Ussawin Bumpen at Ussawin.bumpen@ct.gov, by May 9, 2025.
