On the Trail is a modern acoustic band that explores everything from bluegrass to contemporary pop, from stunning instrumentals to beautiful traditional songs. The group was founded through their love of bluegrass and the band the Punch Brothers. They have already gained recognition and praise for their exploration and strong execution of the challenging music, as well as for their new original music. Most recently, On the Trail had the honor of being selected as an Emerging Artist at Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival. On The Trail features Austin Scelzo (fiddle and vocals), Tom Polizzi (mandolin and vocals), Charlie Widmer (guitar and vocals) and Matt Curley (upright bass and vocals).

G Rockwell Band

An award winning multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer and bandleader, G Rockwell has performed and competed on stages across the country. He is the only musician to have won three Freshgrass competition awards.

​

A virtuosic and diverse player on three instruments, G has toured as guitar player with Jacob Jolliff Band, sat in as banjo player with the jam-band Mountain Grass unit and performed on mandolin backed by a classical chamber orchestra.

​

While having roots in Bluegrass, G's unique style of Americana has modern and world music influences from Celtic fiddle music to Middle Eastern folk tunes, weaving with the traditions of American folk and Old Time.

​

G will be joined by his band with Karl Henry on Bass, Sam Stage on Fiddle and Devin Jones on Guitar. Playing traditional and original music that can be heard on recordings released on all streaming platforms!
