Milford Ed Foundation's Shred For Ed Concert

The Milford Education Foundation (MEF) will be holding its first annual fundraiser at the Milford Arts Council on Sunday October 5th from 2 - 5 PM.
The event will feature two local bands to provide an afternoon of fun, entertainment, and socialization as the fall season gets underway.
The bands featured include The InLaws, a family band that includes MEF board member Ed Faruolo on lead guitar, his daughter Dana Witter on lead vocals, his son-in-law Dave Witter on vocals and drums, son-in-law Kyle Cantwell on vocals and guitar, and “adopted” InLaw Derek Jones on vocals and bass. The group covers a variety of hits from the 50s up to the present. Ed is a life long Milford resident and his daughter Dana grew up in Milford and attended Milford Public Schools.
The afternoon will also feature ZZNot, a highly popular ZZTop cover band featuring Dave Witter on lead vocals, Joe Scallia on drums, Mike Fitzgerald, guitar and Matt Beckett on bass. The band also includes a variety of blues and R&B classics in their repertoire that are guaranteed to get the crowd moving! Both bands have played in a variety of regional pubs and events throughout the state.
Tickets are priced at $10 per person and all proceeds will benefit the Milford Education Foundation. To help control facility capacity tickets are being sold to align with two time slots: A. 2:00 - 3:30 PM and B. 3:30 - 5 PM. A limit of 100 tickets per time slot will be sold.
Beer and wine will be sold with proceeds going to the Foundation. The featured beer will be Milford’s own Rev P3.
