Language of the Drum Workshop

Join Ranendra Das and Mark Zarrillo as they lead you on a journey deep into the nature of drumming, rhythm, and grooves. In this intensive 4-hour workshop, you'll explore the musical systems and philosophies from India and West Africa. You'll practice how to create and how to get better at creating--this is not radio-friendly music! Feel free to bring your own drum. A limited number of drums will also be available for use at the workshop. Drummers of all experience levels are welcome!
