Jazz Festival at Yale: Jeff Fuller

The Yale Undergraduate Jazz Collective is thrilled to conclude the Jazz Festival at Yale with the Jeff Fuller Quintet. Whether performing, teaching or composing, Jeff Fuller brings great joy and a wealth of experience to his musical endeavors. A highly sought-after jazz bassist, he has worked as both a leader and sideman in diverse groups playing all styles of jazz. Fuller has toured worldwide and has played with jazz masters from all eras, including historic artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Gerry Mulligan, and Clark Terry. In 2014, he was presented with the Jazz Haven Award, which recognizes those who work behind the scenes to advance the culture of jazz and the arts in the Greater New Haven community. Jeff Fuller is a graduate of Yale College and the Yale School of Music and has taught with the YUJC lesson program and the YSM Jazz Initiative. The event will conclude with a talk and Q&A. This event is made possible by the Traphagen Alumni Speakers Fund. It will take place in the E Room at the Afro-American Cultural Center (211 Park Street). Please join us for this performance and conversation with Jeff Fuller!
