What to Expect:
- Learn how to cut, taper, twist, bend, and shape steel using traditional forging techniques
- Get an introduction to the science and process of induction heating
- Design and create a piece with guidance from an experienced instructor
- All materials and reference images will be provided
Class Details:
- Limited to 4 participants to ensure individual attention
- No experience needed—perfect for beginners
- All tools, materials, and safety gear included
What to Bring:
- Closed-toe shoes
- Long pants (jeans or work pants; no leggings or synthetic fabrics)
- A breathable, natural-fiber shirt (avoid synthetics, as the forge gets hot)
Whether you’re new to blacksmithing or looking to build on your skills, this workshop is a great place to start. You’ll leave with a finished project and a deeper understanding of the forging process.
