Intro to Sewing

Ever wished you could sew? Whether it's to create unique crafts and clothing or simply shorten a hem, this 5-session workshop is designed to give you the basic tools you need to hit the ground running. From hand stitching to operating a sewing machine, instructor Deb Molloy will guide you as you gain hands-on experience. You will make a pillowcase and leave with a valuable foundation to create projects on your own or continue in upcoming advanced workshops. Sewing machines provided. We ask you to bring your own sharp, 3 or 4 inch scissors to class. Instructor will give details on purchasing thread and fabric for your project at the first class. Classes will be held on Thursdays for 5 classes - 10-2, 10-9, 10-23, 10-30, and 11-6-25.
