Description
Homeless to Boldness will be hosted in person at the Dixwell Community “Q” House on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 from 3-6pm to share stories of resilience, inspire hope, and foster community. Join us to support families in their pursuit of careers and be inspired. Suggested attire: business casual.
Itinerary:
- 3-4pm: Cocktail Hour (non-alcoholic) and Career Fair
- Featuring 8+ employers, including American Job Center, CT State Building Trades Training Institute, CT Aging and Disability Services, CERCLE, EMERGE CT, Gateway Community College, and Marrakech
- Music from Nelson Garcia
- 4pm-5pm: Speakers and Future Career Fashion Showcase
- Featuring Keynote Speaker Tirzah Kemp, City of New Haven Department of Community Resilience
- Featuring Speaker Sylvia Cooper, Christian Community Action
- Featuring Emcee Babz Rawls Ivy
- Music from Shades of Yale
- 5pm-6pm: Dinner and raffle
