Hamden Art League presents Ct Artist Fritz Horstman

Hamden Art League presents Ct Artist Fritz Horstman is a curator, educator, author, and who will give a 45-minute presentation that covers both his new book Interacting with Color: A Practical Guide to Josef Albers’s Color Experiments and his own artwork. Comprising eight experiments from Josef Albers's famous color course, Horstman's book is an invitation to engage directly with the phenomena of color, and will be followed by a hands-on workshop later in the year. His sculptures, prints, drawings, and installations examine natural structures and the human relationship with nature through materials and methods he has developed alongside his work with the Alberses. Held in the Social Hall of the Hamden Senior Center, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, behind the Miller Library.
