Free Program | St. Nicholas Day

Celebrate St. Nicholas’ feast day at this free event with live music from Craig Calistro, children’s activities, refreshments, and more! Plus, explore the Christmas Tree Festival trimmings from Connecticut Catholic schools on 20 trees and vote for your favorite on the opening day of the People’s Choice Award voting.
This free program complements our temporary exhibition "The Spirit of Christmas." Discover through nativity scenes and other artwork the feasts and traditions that today are a part of the preparations and celebrations of the birth of Christ around the world. A supplmental exhibit "Away in a Manger: The Creation of Nativity Scenes" explores the diversity of stables and settings that house Christ’s birth. Both exhibitions will be open during the event with free parking and admission. Learn more about these exhibits at https://www.michaelmcgivneycenter.org/
