Free Juneteenth Movie: Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing" at The flint Street Theater

In honor of Juneteenth, the Friends Center for Children invites our community to a special screening of Do the Right Thing, Spike Lee’s groundbreaking film that explores race, justice, and community in America. The film will be screened in our 100+ seat Flint Street Theater at our Flint Street Campus location Thursday June 19th, at 1:00pm.
More than three decades after its release, the movie remains a powerful and relevant conversation starter — and we believe it offers a meaningful way to reflect together on the legacy of Juneteenth and the ongoing pursuit of racial equity. Do the Right Thing is rated R and contains mature themes, language, and scenes that may not be suitable for young children. Please use discretion
We invite you to share this with your networks in the greater New Haven area! Join us as we come together in learning, reflection, and community. Both Admission and popcorn is FREE. Folks can RSVP here.
