Eight to the Bar celebrates their 50th Anniversary 75ers Reunion Thur 8/28!

Join us Thursday, August 28 for an unforgettable night at Toad’s Place (300 York St., New Haven, CT) as Eight to the Bar celebrates 50 incredible years with a once-in-a-lifetime show!

The show opens with the original 1975 lineup - the group that started it all the very same year that Toad’s Place opened its doors! This 8-piece band will play a lively set of Western Swing and country , featuring a dynamic female vocal trio, boogie woogie piano, pedal steel, and a show-stopping cowboy frontman.

Then, take a musical leap to the present as the current Eight to the Bar lineup , recently voted "Best CT Band 2024", hits the stage with their vocally-oriented swing, boogie-woogie, and jump blues, joined by Collin Tilton , the original sax/flute player from Van Morrison’s “Moondance” album.
