Drawing Multiple Figures From Observation

Expand your figure drawing skills with the challenge of drawing more than one figure in the same drawing. Focus on methods of coordinating the proportion of both figures, compositional considerations when designing a picture with more than one person, as well as a discussion of the narrative implications of multi-figural work.

General figure drawing technique will also be included in the class.

The class will develop one “long pose” drawing of two clothed models over the course of the three class meetings. Some prior figure drawing experience recommended.
