Disney's Descendants - Auditions
Based on the Disney movie, Descendants, the musical follows four troublemakers, the children of infamous villains, who are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes. They have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?
Auditions are open to kids 4th - 12th grade and will be held on January 11th 4 - 7pm , 12th 5:30 - 7:30 pm, and 14th 5:30 - 7:30pm, with callbacks held on the 15th from 4-6pm.
All children registering will be cast in the show. The audition process is to determine roles. Audition requirements: Everyone should prepare a monologue approximately 1 min. Singing requirements and materials are on our website'saudition page, linked here. There will be no choreography portion of the auditions - only in callbacks if needed.
Rehearsals start on January 18th and are on Sundays 4 PM-7:00 PM; Mondays 5:30 PM-7:30 PM and Wednesdays 5:30 PM-7:30 PM. Performances will be April 24, 25, 26, and May 1,2,3.
When registering, you will need to fill out a conflict form showing all conflicts you have and can list your preference for an audition date.
If you or your child knows you will take part in this play, you can pay now or select Invoice me to pay later. If you are not yet certain that you will be committed (for any reason, including but not limited to: waiting for fall schedules, waiting to hear casting decisions, etc) then please select PAY LATER and you will be able to commit later (by the first rehearsal). You can avoid credit card charges by paying by check or cash. If you are paying by check or cash select invoice me and bring payment to rehearsal.
