Colored Pencil Techniques at Artsplace

Learn the many techniques which can give your colored pencil artwork the look of oil paintings. You will study layering, burnishing, dissolving, lifting color, infusing color and so much more. Emphasis will be placed on achieving correct values, arriving at the desired color and how to achieve specific effects. You will work with artist quality pencils and papers. All supplies are included. Beginners work on projects designed by the instructor and then move on to working on pieces of their own choosing.
