Central CT Chapter Social event/Fundraiser!

Please join our next social gathering! We will also be collecting donations of used MTB equipment for HIMBA (Hinoba-an Mountain Bikers Association), our “sister chapter” in the Philippines. (Many of you may remember our member Bob Lyon, who moved to the Philippines last year with his wife Mylen). Your bike probably cost more than the average family in the Philippines earns in a year, so pretty much any used gear you have lying around would be greatly appreciated! For example: helmets, sunglasses, gloves, pads, handlebars, handlebar grips, pedals, tires, old Camelbaks, etc. If you don’t have old gear lying around, consider making a donation to Central CT NEMBA to cover shipping. This is an MTB trifecta- support mountain biking, do some spring cleaning, and maybe even get a tax break!
