Celebrating 35 years with the Middlesex Hospital Vocal Chords

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 7:00pm at Portland High School, 95 High St., Portland, CT for our 35th Annual Spring Concert.  This program will showcase the diverse talents of our chorus.  The program will feature contemporary arrangements including "Moondance" and "Yacht Rock", a medley of smooth songs from the 70's and 80's.  Patriotic pieces along with timeless classics such as "Shenandoah", "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "Putting on the Ritz" will also be performed.  Under the direction of Sam Tucker and accompanist Alan Dougherty, this performance promises to be engaging, with the potential for audience toe-tapping and sing-alongs.

Proceeds from the concert fund scholarships for Middlesex County high school seniors pursuing a career in music or nursing.  Thus far, we have awarded $87,000.  Special thanks to Middlesex Health and our loyal followers for their support.
