Carry On: Build a Wooden Bottle Caddy

Participants will learn to build a sturdy wooden bottle caddy—perfect for carrying drinks, organizing tools, or gifting to a friend. This hands-on workshop will walk through cutting, joining, and assembling the parts from raw wood to finished project. It’s a great way to get comfortable using core tools in the woodshop while making something functional and gift-worthy.
What to Expect
In this workshop, you’ll start with pre-sized lumber and learn how to measure, cut, drill, and assemble your own wooden carrier. Instructors will guide you through safe tool use (like the miter saw and drill press) and show you how to add finishing touches like sanding and optional stain or oil. You’ll leave with a complete six-slot bottle caddy and the skills to make more.
Skills You’ll Acquire
- Measuring and marking for accurate cuts
- Safe operation of the miter saw and drill press
- Assembly using wood glue, brads, and screws
- Finishing techniques for wood projects
- Basic understanding of woodworking joinery
What’s Provided
All materials, tools, and safety gear are included in the ticket price. You’ll also receive a printed handout summarizing measurements and steps so you can replicate the build later if desired.
