Annual CT Poetry Out Loud Summit

On January 11, CT's Poetry Out Loud team will hold its free, annual summit open to ALL CT high school students. We have an amazing line-up of poetry workshops facilitated by spoken word poets and teaching artists from across CT on topics including physical presence, voice & articulation, interpretation, and evidence of understanding.
These workshops are an opportunity to gain exposure to beautiful, American poetry, and practice poetry recitation and performance/public speaking skills.
Come through and learn more also about Poetry Out Loud, a poetry recitation program with state and national competitions, including cash prizes for students and schools (top student prize is $20,000!).
