8th Annual Dancing My Way to Wellness Line Dance-a-thon
Welcome to the ****8********t********h Annual Dancing My Way to Wellness Line Dance-a-thon****! We plan on having a great time and making our eighth year the best ever!!!
****Twelve (yes, you read it right) 12 hours**** of line dancing this year with brief instructionals throughout (MOSTLY R&B, Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Zydeco, and even a little Country)! You don't have to stay (or dance) the entire time. You will have a wristband so you can come, leave, and come back. Just come out and join in the fun!
*****Note that the location will be the same as last year's**********;***** yes*****,***** this year's fun-filled event will be at ****Devonshire Hall****, *****and it's behind the Crosspoint Federal Credit Union on Sanford Street.***** Balloons will mark the spot!
**VERY lite refreshments, and dinner will be offered but you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages.
Health awareness info advocates will be available to promote/provide resources, and educate... There will also be sales vendors...
There will be raffles and more...
Tickets on sale May 1st. ****CashApp, Paypal, Venmo, and cash**** are the preferred (and fee-free) options, but you can purchase through Eventbrite as well. Last year, we sold out; don't delay! When we reach this location's capacity, that's it!

GROUPS: At least ****10 or more persons****, and MUST be purchased together. EARLY BIRD group price - tickets are $25/pp. ON/AFTER August 1st, tickets are $35/pp.

*****Why is online ticket price a little more?***** Online ticket price includes processing fee. However, we do have paper tickets available for sale so that you can purchase without incurring the processing fee. (Some of the instructors, including some out of state, will have paper tickets for purchase as well.) Also, it's certainly easier to just purchase through cashapp or paypal, or venmo, with no extra fees.
*****What does the ticket price include?***** Ticket price includes entry, refreshments throughout the day, dinner, raffles.

*****Hotel Suggestions?***** There are several in Hamden, New Haven, and West Haven within a 5 mile radius and with different price ranges/amenities. Here is one, with the distance from the venue according to MapQuest: Carriage House Hotel and Conference Centre, 2297 Whitney Avenue, Hamden CT 06518; 1 mile - approximately 4 minutes **Working on group rate under 'Dancing My Way to Wellness'.
*****What are my parking options?***** Parking is free.
****What can/can't I bring into the event?**** You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages; only VERY lite refreshments and dinner will be offered. We are NOT allowed to have confetti on the premises, just in case you intend to celebrate any special occasions, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries.
